Anchor Sand is a polymer-modified, stabilized sand.

Initially developed as a base and surfacing material for horse tracks,  Anchor Sand has moved into a multitude of other markets.  It's great when used to stabilize soils around head walls and drainage structures in roadway drainage ditches.  Anchor Sand is also very effective for bunker stabilization and erosion control.  The material can be placed in 6" lifts or less and conforms to the shape of the material upon which it is placed.  When deposited out of a delivery truck it has the consistency similar to a stiff flowable cementious fill but has the capability of forming a nearly vertical angle of repose upon placement.  The material maintains its cohesive nature lending it as an extremely useful, cost-effective solution to long term projects.
